Vitamins and Minerals Can Improve Mood and Energy
Last week, I gave two talks on ADHD. During the talks I highlighted the fact that psychiatric medications for ADHD have limited efficacy and in fact can be harmful to your health. The same could be said for all psychiatric medications. (Don’t believe me? You don’t need to look up the scientific references – of which there are plenty. Next time a pharmaceutical commercial of any kind starts to play on your TV, close your eyes, and just listen. Really listen. Then draw your own conclusion.)
Anxiety, depression, and low energy are a few of the most common presenting problems in any psychological setting and in most general health practices. Taking psychiatric medications for these conditions does not correct a chemical imbalance. The medications cause a chemical imbalance. (Don’t believe me?
